Parag M. Mehta specializes in franchise law, corporate formation, trademark protection, contract negotiation, and business litigation.
His extensive experience includes working at Douglas County Legal Aid in Lawrence, Kansas to represent indigent clients in various criminal and family law matters. He also worked at Kansas Legal Services, providing assistance with wills and trusts, with real estate, and with social security matters as part of the Elder Law program.
Before entering law school, Parag was a business and strategy consultant at Accenture (formerly a division of Arthur Andersen), working directly with senior executives at Fortune 500 firms.He graduated from Illinois State University in 2003 and from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2010.
A member of the Georgia Bar Association, Parag was admitted in 2010 to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Parag enjoys participating in many types of outdoor activities, ranging from golf to white-water rafting. He is an avid fan of the University of Kansas Jayhawks and will go to great lengths to watch the school’s basketball games.
Satyam A. Mehta focuses on bankruptcy and tax matters, estate planning, real estate law, and civil litigation.
His professional career includes work at the prestigious accounting firm of Ernst & Young, where he advised business clients about tax strategy and tax compliance. He has also been a consultant to numerous law practices regarding various aspects of litigation, estate planning, and bankruptcy.
Satyam earned an undergraduate degree in business management from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2002; a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Florida State University in 2006; and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from Loyola Law School in 2007.
A member of the bar associations in Georgia and Arizona, Satyam is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the United States Court of Federal Claims.
Satyam’s social interests are far-ranging, from golf to music. He actively gives back to the community, with a favorite charity being the highly-recognized and highly-respected BAPS Charities which focuses on natural disaster relief. He is an avid follower of Georgia Tech athletics.
